Cyclical form
A composition in which the same thematic material is used in all or most movements. Although Beethoven did this in the Fifth and Ninth symphonies and in the Piano Sonata, Op.101; the form was established by Cesar Franck and used by his French followers d'Indy, Faure, Saint-Saens and Dukas.
