Biskra scale
The Arabic scale consisting of D, F, F# and G#. Thus, it contains a minor third (D-F), a major third (D-F#) and an augmented fourth - tritone (D-G#). It is one of the trade marks of Bartokian melodic style (an example being the first movement of his Music for strings, percussions and celesta).
